Hi,

This is Jonathan Baines, I was just wondering if anybody on the board is going to Cambridge tomorrow, as I and my good lady will hopefully be going out for the day and taking in the headline act in the evening!

Hi Jon, (and anyone else)

Try:

The Regal
St Andrews St.

Just north of Parkers Piece to the left of the green.

Me and a mate might be there around 3pm.. and probably early evening?

Do Karen and Debs still frequent the board and concerts?

Just made an account so i can say what an awesome set Steve and the band played this evening.Truly made me smile! And my night was made with those first few piano notes of Sebastian. Many many thanks for that!
All music becomes tied with memory - Cockney Rebel first came into my awareness as an 8 year old boy staying with my aunt who had a massive poster of the psychomodo cover on her wall.
But it wasn't until 10 years later that i really listened and fell in love with that album.
I guess it's the first two albums that really do it for me.The lyrical and orchestral majesty of tracks like Ritz,Death Trip and Sebastian are sublime....
And so i finally got to see Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel play live, and i have to say it surpassed all expectations,"Which made us HAPPY!!!" A tight band and Steve exuding a passion for the music made for a wonderful evening.I would have loved if they'd played for two hours but as it was we got a set of pure shining gems, what more can a lover of music ask for.
Thanks again.
