if anyone fancies a (sort of) Harley related bet today that finely named beast 'Between the Lines' is meant to be running today in the 17.05 at Warwick.
It has run 9 times so far and has only managed to be placed once (3rd place). Despite that record, it has been put into this race with top weight!
May be worth a quid or two each way (at about 12/1) if you ignore the form and go for the name.

Race won by a 25/1 outsider! Between the Lines (16/1) finished 8th of the nine runners. I shouldn't ignore form.
At least old Psychomodo used to win a few races about five or six years ago.

Hi GKen
You may well have been talking in chinese!
I would love to understand the racing language and often listen to Ch4 RACING mostly during an ironing session (yes even we Harley fans have to do chores:laugh: )
Better luck next time eh?
P.s whispers...good night last night at "BIC" whispers whispers.

I only stick on a couple of quid here and there. With my luck I may as well be writing tips to put in fortune cookies!

Ah, I see.
Mr. Cohen used to be on the turntable quite a lot in a houseshare I once lived in. His lyrics can be hilarious. I don't think he takes himself as seriously as some people think.
There is an opening lines to one song - 'I lit a thin green candle, to make you jealous of me/but the room just filled up with mosquitoes, they heard that my body was free' - that had us in fits of (wine-fuelled) laughter the first time we heard it.
