I was there too, heard about the gig in a national paper, got my heavily pregnant wife to go and get the tickets through the day, and then took her to the concert that night, my son was born a month after the gig, and we stood in the front row in front of the backing singers.
It was Steve's first concert back in the uk after being to the USA for a few years.
Great crowd just before Christmas 1984.

I am hoping that a new live recorded gig will become available, that Camden gig was good, but not a patch on the way Steve and the Band play nowadays!
Steve and the band are like a good wine, they get better with age!!!

I wasn't there too, Prima Donna....but you have a very good point in that the band in that vid were not a patch on the current set-up. The show nowhere near as slick and rocking.
Steve is a mega performer these days. Good wine, indeed!
