Back in 1998, for most of us, the internet was only just up and running. When I worked in Blackheath for a while during that year - and I liked its (for London), leafy feel (in another thread I've referred to my fondness for Pimlico - where Stuart Elliott and Steve Harley were working on their emergence...) - I had no idea that Steve was brought up just 'around the corner'. Nor had I in 2008, when I saw and heard Aimee Mann play at Inigo2.
(I wonder if the originator of this thread, ever found out?)
