Thanks both for the kind words on the write up, it was truly the most incredible event with Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel being the absolute icing on the cake.
Always enjoyed SH's music, although having never seen him nor the band live before I had always rated 'just' amongst my favourite recording artists. Now, however, absolutely my favourite ............. full stop! Just so much enthusiasm & created so much energy through the audience.
Also the Avalon field is such a tight, friendly environment it made a fantastic performance even better (I know - I'm running out of descriptives ;) )
Hope they are playing next year?
Kind of a shame it wasn't televised though, but a few friends have said coverage wasn't the best this year?
