Bravo. Couldn't help thinking about the venue though, or Steve with the jacket zipped to the chin. Then I thought; well it's a good-sized room for accoustics - heightwise at least, and all objects appear to be against the walls, so maybe the heating's off to densen the air & defeat the sound sufficiently to minimise distortion from feedback. This was just the thoughts of a former physics student of course - several years down the line from the exam, which was passed only by storing stock answers to stock questions. Kind of like the way I learned by rote the lyrics to the first three, four with A Closer Look, SH & CR albums - at a time when I was too young to understand them. It's not until years later that you find yourself filling in the words which you were unable to make out, by virtue of understanding. So me being all grown up now, I thinks, maybe I'm ready for stuff like that SH solo album I had on loan from the record library back in the 80's; what was it called again? 'Riding The Waves' (Virginia Wolf); hang on, quick web search. Aah! I see; RTW(VW)is a track, the album being 'Hobo With A Grin'. 'sfunny, I could have sworn it was... Wa...! 'Lookin' rou...' as I was saying Bravo. Superb!

What a terrific version of a great Daniel Johnston song. Love the video and the sound of the piano and harmonica. If the rest of the new album is as good as this then we're in for a treat. Love it!
