Travelled down from Newcastle to Pocklington to see the amazing Steve Harley at the Pocklington Arts Centre for two nights. He was, as always breath taking. His performance was masterful and passionate and intertwined with his humour and anecdotes it made for a beautiful experience. No bleeding hearts and This Old man were particularly outstanding. The first night Steve talked about his missed opportunity to meet Muhammad Ali and how he made sure he met Bob Dylan. I missed my opportunity to meet Steve the first night but despite being incredibly shy I made sure I met him the second night. He calmed my nerves with a strong handshake, something I will never quite recover from! Steve Harley, the gorgeous talented man is my Bob Dylan and always will be.
