What a great gig tonight at the new Manchester HMV Ritz. Excellent new venue which is reminicent to the great Robin2 Bilston, but bigger. The large crowd sung, clapped and swayed to every song for 2hrs 15 mins and Steve and the band lapped it all up. I think Manchester has at last got a standing venue to match the best in the country and I get the feeling Steve will be back. From the opening bars of Ritz, through the up tempo Muriel the Actor to the final crowd pleaser, Make me Smile, the night was a triumph.

A superb night indeed Graeme, with great song selection, and fantastic delivery by Mr Harley and co.

The new Bilston? Hmmmm no, I don't think so. But as for a rocking venue up North, look no further! The crowd were in great voice and were totally up for a singalong! I don't think we can ever replace the International 2, but The Ritz sure beats the Academy's as a rocking venue.
