In the January 2012 issue of Uncut magazine (P J Harvey on the cover) there is a three page article on the making of Make Me Smile with interviews and a full page photo. If you want to read it in the shop, it's on page 24. Sorry, I don't have a scanner.

It's a brilliant piece, and ought to be a real fillip for ticket sales!
Steve comes across as cool and centred. Jim Cregan is amusing and Stuart Elliott just the friendly guy you always took him for. Alan Parsons gives a great account of recording MMS, too. First-class journalism and a great read about an important song in the history of UK pop/rock. Uncut is just about the best around in that music mag world. Maybe Mojo???

For the sad pathetic Americans, if anyone does get the magazine that could scan it I'll be your best friend. ;)

Excellent article. Nice to hear Milton's comments on behalf of the three members of the original line up,but would have liked to have heard a bit more from their angle. Good stuff though and still a timeless and great song. :)
