I'm totally shocked. I never thought for one moment that this day would come. Steve has been a constant in my life since 73. I can't express how sad I am. My sincerest condolences to Steve's family. and loved ones.

I am equally shocked. Even earlier today, I had hope.

I will treasure 19/12/22, for me the last time in his & Cockney Rebel's presence.

Sincere condolences to the Harley family and to Stuart, Barry, David, James and Oli and THANX. RIP Rebel. You played an honest hand.

Jem

Words fail me, my deepest sympathy to his family, seeing him perform and listening to his music has been part of my life since I first heard Sebastian in the early ‘70s., right up to the concert at Shepherds Bush a couple of years ago. When I last saw him perform. He was and always will be a legend to me, RIP Mr Harley.

I am devastated,

Steve’s songs brought me such pleasure and in many cases, such as Nothing is Sacred, Virginia Woolf and Tumbling Down, educated me in matters of art, literature and mythology.

I went to see him in Belfast last May and he was brilliant as always..

Little realising I would never see him again..

Farewell and RIP to El Gran Senor.
