What a song!!

Just to be a bit of an 'anorak' (to our USA friends that means someone obsessed by facts and figures !!) the song Back to the Farm was only performed live on two tours in 1975 and 1976. If you search Roualts Channel there's a live 'audio only' version of the song from 1976. If anything it's more manic than the 1975 version.Steve is busting a gut with some outstanding vocals. The song completely disappeared from the setlist until a 'one off' performance in 1999 (something that's also on Roualts brilliant YouTube channel) This version is a lot more subdued but still sounds amazing. Questions should be asked as to why Back to the Farm isn't brought back to Steve's live shows.It's always been one of my favourite Harley songs,both studio and live versions.

I did feel quite scared watching this...(and worried)

It was this song that showed the young me (5 years younger than SH) what a wild imagination Steve has...started to read and wriote poetry (badly!!) after being very touched by Best Years as an album.

Roualt is the guy who has put an amazing ammount of rare and vintage Cockney Rebel stuff on Youtube. He is responsible for putting stuff on their that most of us have never seen before. I assume it is from a large personal collection which must have taken years to collect.
