Very interesting to see Stella. The Great British Public that watched another huge entertainment bedrock on Saturday night ('Strictly Come Dancing') witnessed the band recreate Steve's version on the title track from Phantom. The singer did a top job and it goes to show what a great performance Steve did with it - and yes the 'Opera' went on to be the most successful money-making entertainment project on the planet, ever.
The introductory bars played on this programme are the work of Steve's friend Mike Batt, so this programme gave credit to both musicians that brought so much to Phantom...
