WOW! I've always wanted to hear Steve sing a Bolan song live. On the occasions when I have had a chat with Steve we usually end up remembering Marc. The Empire is a great venue too,can't wait. xx

Love the choice of songs. Lofty Skies is a brilliant early T.REX track with quite a difficult vocal.Good luck Steve!!

Just for info, Mr Raffles, Lofty Skies on the Beard of Stars album was Tyurannosaurus ('scuse the spelling!) Rex, before Marc formd the band called T. Rex. and you're right it is a brilliant song.

I remember years ago discussing with my cousin whether Steve had taken 'Harley' as his stage name after the song on 'Prophets, Seers and Sages' called 'Oh Harley ( The Saltimbanques)'

The lyric did seem to fit Steve's stage persona from the early days.

A Beard Of Stars, my favourite ever Tyrannosaurus OR T. Rex album. Steve and Barry on fiddle playing Lofty Skies might be a classic. Dandy was a great MB single - never got the appreciation it deserved. We'll be there, hopefully. Migjht sell out real quickly, depending on which other artists they get on board.
