Brian Mclean: Mr

Hi Steve. Am a big fan going way back to the 70's and have been to several gigs over the years. I used to train and breed racehorses for over 15 years, which is a sport I know you're really into. In the 80's I bred a horse and raced it which I named Timeless Flight after my favourite album of yours. Live in London now and hope to get to some more gigs soon. Keep rocking down the road...

Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza was added today. Others will follow. It's that sort of business, and that time of year!! RACHEL

Hopeing someone can help! Kind gentlemen was giving out cd's in the Brass House before the Birmingham gig.Track 19 instrumental can't stop playing it just now , anybody got any info on it? As an avid concert goer i love the 10 mins before the man appears on stage with the anticipation , musical background playing a big part. This instrumental track would be a perfect pre band appearing on stage! looking forward to holmfirth, same set list as buxton would suit me down to a tee.

rebelfreak1: jimbo to stella.....translation

a short translation of graemes reply... Thanks Stella,I need to be in Holmfirth asd I plan on drinking copious amounts on the night, and need to be able to stagger back to my room,I am on first name terms with most of the lamposts between the venue and the elephant and castle,so they would help me get back.Besides, like Jimbo I am a jock, and a saturday night taxi to a hotel a few miles away is totally out of the you not realise a ten quid taxi is at least three pints of ale down the swanee...!!!! (we are all getting old!). Graeme.

Graeme: Graeme to Stella

Saturday, 23 February 2013

Pandorah: At the risk of repeating myself !

Ha ! Jo ! I'm So glad I'm not the only one ! That's my usual stint ! Repeat postings :-) I think the burst of laughter ' fits of giggles you refer to from Mr H was induced when James took to shaking his rattle/ shaky thing in a way that distracted Mr H just as he was in to that line " where are you going to? Shaking your long blonde hair " during Saturday night at the fair. ! Like I've said! many times before ! Never the same twice :-) Classic :-) You just couldn't make it up :-) Brilliant performance by all. Mesmerised ! Loved the harmonies from the boys on cavaliers .

Thursday, 21 February 2013

joanna: once is surely enuf!

Ah no ........ not twice ..Ahhhhhhhh

joanna: Good weekend in Buxton

For those who may have thought a Monday night in Feb on the northern moors, given recent weather was not a good combo.....WRONG.. SO SO wrong...."sooooweeee". Have faith my friends and pull out all the stops to get there next time. The same show? no no no. Very different. Always different. Once the guys were strapped in (literally) they were flying and soaring, twisting and turning and yet fixed so so fixed. Often seeming to physically struggle to break free from where they had gone. Thank you to Steve. Good to see some "Stranger" in there.... drug free tunes too! not at all bad. Barry obviously hadnt done his homework as we didnt get The Lighthouse!(ha ha) but we were treated to a huge slug of harmonica which I thought worked well against the violin.. missed you Barry. Adam was quietly commanding at the back and Robbie smiling in his zone... and what was that chuckling about then guys? Lincoln was hiding again and James happy looked happy. Soon too quickly it was all done and some folk were rushing off to where? and others were wandering and milling around in the warm cocoon protected from the oh so cold night air.... Lovely. Just brilliant. Thank you x Jo l
