Hi
I know that requests are a problem but.......have just got my tickets for the Anvil in November and would really like to have Friend for Life on the play list. There is a very good reason and I will be brief. My niece is a very good and talented musician (guitar and vocals) and she agreed to do a charity gig for me to raise funds for Jamie's Farm (see google search). The only condition was that I had to play one number with her and I had not picked up a guitar in 40 years !!!!! She let me choose the number and yes, it was "Friend for Life" for two reasons. One it is just a great song and two, I could just about manage the chords. Cutting it short, we pulled it off having both rehearsed it to the IOW version on YouTube (she lives 200 miles from me) and ran it through twice on the day then winged it. It was such a buzz and surprised many who were there who had no idea what was coming. Fingers crossed.......SteveK

Brian Mclean: Mr
Hi Steve. Am a big fan going way back to the 70's and have been to several gigs over the years. I used to train and breed racehorses for over 15 years, which is a sport I know you're really into. In the 80's I bred a horse and raced it which I named Timeless Flight after my favourite album of yours. Live in London now and hope to get to some more gigs soon. Keep rocking down the road...

Hopeing someone can help! Kind gentlemen was giving out cd's in the Brass House before the Birmingham gig.Track 19 instrumental can't stop playing it just now , anybody got any info on it? As an avid concert goer i love the 10 mins before the man appears on stage with the anticipation , musical background playing a big part.This instrumental track would be a perfect pre band appearing on stage!
looking forward to holmfirth, same set list as buxton would suit me down to a tee.
