Sigh!

OK a quick reminder of the relevant rules:

1. Please do not post anything defamatory, threatening, obscene, harmful, pornographic, vulgar, crude, sexist, racist, homophobic or otherwise offensive. Always treat other Users with respect.

4. Do not insult or attack other members.

5. Do not wind people up in order to get them to break any of these rules.

8. Please do not post self-important and/or pompous messages.

9. Please do not post messages on the website commenting on the moderation policies of this forum

If you really cannot engage in a debate without resorting to insulting and ad hominem attacks than please don't post here at all. There are other sites where you can insult each other until your typing fingers fall off.

Attacking the arguments is acceptable. Attacking the people is not.

Your last post smells like trolling.

The rest of you, please don't feed the trolls. It only encourages them.

Speaking as someone who refrains from wearing 'rose tinted' glasses I was in a minority of one or two people who offered some criticism about Steve's show in Birmingham. I would totally disagree with you thou Dave about including more of Steve's 'banter' on the DVD and CD. Surely you pay to hear the music? Two complete albums and extra bonus tracks. Can't think off hand of ANY official live release that has included all the talk between songs. My main gripe after seeing the show was Steve fumbling some of the words. I would agree on that point that during some of the songs the lyrics became somewhat slurred and incomprehensible. Having said that the Cavaliers preview offered by Classic Rock magazine proved that a song that I thought at the time he'd well and truly messed up actually turned out to be one of the highlights of the show. A bit of re-editing and re-mixing perhaps but who cares? You really should have taped the show yourself. That way you could have listened to all the chat between the songs and not worried too much about the 'dodgy' camera angles.
